Fun with Friends!

Today, Tiffany & Isabel, Ava & me, and Lisa & Dylan met in Stillwater for lunch and to play in a park. There's a great kids-only park that we went to...complete with fake grass! It was very nice to have a chance to catch up and see how much all of the kids have grown. Although Tiff definitely was on her feet more than Lisa or me - Isabel is quite active, and was checking everything out!

Here's Isabel, venturing out...under Tiff's watchful eye

And Lisa with Dylan...
And my baby, who spent most of the time sleeping. Such a social girl! Must take after her dad in that aspect. :)

Have a great weekend!

Hey!! Just checking up on you guys, looks like things are going well. I miss seeing all of you girls and Erik does too (although I think he misses garage time more than holding babies time). We are doing good, first week of teaching is over and ready for more. We must get together soon, Ava and Isabel are getting so big!! Hopefully we can connect soon!! Take care :) Megan

Snuggly Warm

It's the time of year to be cozy, so there's nothing better than sitting in front of a warm fire, reading a good book/watching a good show, and enjoying the glow of the Christmas tree. Even Pria thinks so! Pria was avoiding the vacuum earlier this week...she loves to be on Ava's bed! Getting cozy inside of a little fortress After a fairly busy week at school, work, and extracurricular activities, we all enjoyed a night at home on Friday. G and I built gingerbread houses (they both look a little sad, but we had fun), and then we all played Tractoropoly for a few hours. Turns out that G was stockpiling money, so we need to figure out his secret on how to save! Love Ava's face and hand placement here And we can't forget all of the treats that George brought this week! Sunday, December 10 "Can you get a bullseye?" Monday, December 11 "I'm brining Christmas Cheer, by singing loud for everyone to hear!" Tuesday, December 12 "Don't be the o

Barbie & George

We had a fun week to wrap up November. Last Saturday, Scott and I enjoyed a nice dinner out, and then a spontaneous trip to Home Depot...and we got some new exterior Christmas décor! But more important was the time spent together. Plus, it started to snow, so the view from the restaurant was beautiful (but the drive home was a little sketchy.) On Tuesday night, Ava and I headed out to the Mall of America to experience the Malibu Barbie Café. We had a blast exploring the area, eating the yummy food, and then shopping for a bit. It was a wonderful night evening spent together. Even the drinks were pretty! My Avocado Toast & salad Ava's Paradise Pancakes On Friday night, my book club gathered for our holiday party and it was a blast! We had such a good time chatting, eating, drinking, and finished off the night with a book exchange. I cherish and deeply appreciate the friendships that have developed with my neighbors because of this book club. And to really kick off the holiday se

State Fair 2023

The end of summer is officially here (although, not by calendar standards, as G likes to point out.) The Minnesota State Fair 2023 kicked off on Thursday, and we were there to cheer on the RHSMB. Per tradition, they were the first band in the parade on the first day - what an honor! We're so used to long parades, that when the whole thing was past us in less than 15 minutes, it was a little shocking. Due to copyright issues, I can't post any video of the band online, but trust me, they were great! We ate the perfect amount of fair food that we weren't stuffed, and since it was opening day, it was a little less crowded than the weekends (which was a great thing for us.) G did so well this year, and didn't complain or beg for anything. Now that he's older, it's much easier to bring him places like this, and we can all enjoy it. We even managed to meet up with my friend Emilie who was there for a work event. It was great to catch up for a few minutes, and take a br
