Go, Go, Goers!

Fianlly...pictures!  The other morning I was getting ready to go to work, and I heard Ava lecturing Scooter and Black Bear.  When I peeked in on her, I saw both of her laptops set up, and she was giving lessons to the bear and the cat on how to use them!  They'll be pros in no time! Actually, we've noticed that she's entered a lecturing phase - and she is very serious about it!  Yesterday afternoon, she put Scooter down for a nap, and kept going in to check on him...and lecturing him for crying and making too much noise.  To hear her mimic us (and the things we say) was hilarious!  It also makes us take a closer look at how we speak to her...we say "no" an awful lot - and I think it's time to put a more positive spin on our interactions! We never know how much we're going to have to struggle when we leave the house.  This time was NOT easy.  She was quite content to lay on the floor...she had no interest in standing up! Just when it comes to this blog, of course!  Spring has seem to bring an endless amount of WORK that both Scott and I are trying to get through.  My replacement for my travel job started a month ago, but she started right in the middle of the busiest time of the year - and I haven't been able to extract myself from the job completely.  I think the end is in sight, though - I'm hoping that April brings many new changes...one of which consists of me having just one job! Scott's been incredibly busy getting his business set up - and scheduling side work whenever he can.  It's funny, he used to give me a hard time about being on my laptop, and every single night, he's glued to his now.  Maybe he would be willing to post a few blog entries! And little Ava.  Sweet, sweet Ava.  She's doing great! Well, except for the two visits to the doctor within 2 weeks.  Strep and the flu have been going around the community, so she's been tested for strep twice,...
